The Beeney’s Story So Far!

After 38 years in the catering industry working all over the country as an award winning pastry chef Bri found himself out of work in the first lockdown as the hospitality trade was forced to close.

We started by making brownies from home and within a few weeks we began adding more and more to our menu including afternoon tea which, whilst working in a hotel, Bri won awards for. Since then we have built up a regular customer base offering home delivery and collection.

Each of our products are freshly homemade in our 5 star hygiene rated kitchen so therefore need to be ordered in advance. We have a set menu but also add weekly specials and are open to requests. Throughout the year we add more products for different occasions from Valentines to Easter, Mothers and Fathers day to Christmas so we’re constantly experimenting with different themes.

One of our services we offer is personalisation. This can be anything from Birthday cakes to Birthday pies, we’ve even personalised sausage rolls!

We’re both keen foragers and try to add locally sourced produce to our range. So far we have made wild garlic pesto for our quiche and elderflower cordials. We’re always on the lookout to use foraged food on our walks.

Alongside our home deliveries and collections we supply other local businesses with our goods and are firm believers in supporting small businesses.

Now that the restrictions are lifting we are starting to attend different events with our stall so will keep the website updated with dates.

Home Delivery

Another part of what we do here at Beeney’s alongside taking personal orders is supplying other businesses in the area with our goods. At present we are working with Fika who are a small our coffee shop and wine bar based in Rossington.

Alongside our usual menu we host events throughout the year which sell out almost immediately! Our busiest time of the year is Christmas and New Year and our best sellers are definitely our mince pies and traditional Christmas cakes.

As keen foragers we’re always on the look out whilst out walking for things we can use in our recipes. As the seasons change there are lots of different things to look out for when foraging and we try and incorporate these in our dishes.
